Powerful dance moves and super masculine image, are the few words that sums up 'Shinwha'. As the name suggests 'Shinwha' a Korean word for 'myth', certainly lived up to the name and keeps on creating it as time passes by. 1998 saw the birth of 'Shinwah' armed with their trademark image accompanied by the powerful dance moves when 'H.O.T.' and 'Sechskies' were at their peak trying to out do each other. At first, people regarded as another marketing gimmick to win over the hearts of many fans of 'H.O.T' which was on the brink of falling apart, but in time they proved the critics wrong. The accomplishment they made had exceeded many and soon the whole nation was in 'Shinwah-mania'. Their debut song 'Problem solver' and the follow up 'Ermm~ Ermm~' were instant hits with the fans which signaled the long run of the group. Their 2nd album, 'T.O.P.' which was released the following year made even greater impact with the fans and as it coincided with the breakup of 'H.O.T.' 'Shinwah' was able to promote itself to the top of the race between all the boybands alike.

The 3rd album, 'Only one' showcased the musical direction of the group, which was reminiscent of the 'pop-dance' genre of a well-polished sound and choreography that took after the likes of 'N'Sync', 'Backstreetboys'. And this was possible as all of each member had distinctive roles within the group from vocals to choreography, which was an unseen trait by the rivals. With such foundation, they released their 4th album, 'Hey come On!' followed by their 5th 'Perfect Man' the following years and made their presence felt at the forefront of the 'Hal-ryu' as well making impacts throughout Asia and even releasing 3 albums in Taiwan as well.

However, the secret behind 'Shinwha's' success lies within and is said to have the best working relationship amongst themselves. As well as their relentless success as a band, each of them stared to pursue their careers individually, Kim dong-Wan as a radio host, Eric, Jeon Jin and Andy as fashion models and actors and Hye-Sung who release an album as 'S' with fellow singers 'Lee Ji-Hoon' and 'Kang-Ta' and a solo album from Min-Woo.

'Shinwah', although regarded a second rated 'H.O.T.' has proved everybody wrong with their massive success, which seems endless. And with their solo careers on the rise, they have released their latest effort in November 2004 entitled 'Brand New' and started again as a group proving that they can be as successful on their own and as 'Shinwha'. This in turn is truly a myth in the making and their future has never been so bright.

1998年3月24日，神话于"KM Music Tank"节目中演唱首张专辑主打歌曲<解决者>正式出道
神话组合由SM Entertainment策划、组建、推出，双方合作历时五年之久。2003年6月，神话正式签约Good Entertainment.
神话已经正式发行了7张常规专辑，1张精选辑，2张特辑，第8张常规专辑也将于2006年5月11日正式上市。作为职业歌手，神话不断改变音乐风格，为韩国歌迷及大众韩乐爱好者了各种创作了多样化流行音乐，他们的歌声随着时间不断变化，无论在任何时候他们的酷酷的音乐都被当下歌迷所认可，在他们以往的风格中，包括了摇滚 、说唱、流行、情歌以及R&B。神话同样以成员间彼此的默契配合及在各类演唱会、MV等表演中独特的舞蹈动作而深受欢迎。然而，他们的英文Rap一度因为不够一直而受到普遍嘲笑。
